Copyright & DMCA Policy

Last updated October 22, 2026

If something on minecraft.feedback uses your work without permission, tell us and we’ll look into it quickly. We follow the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Our copyright agent

Send notices to our designated copyright agent: Copyright Agent, minecraft.feedback, by email at legal@minecraft.feedback with “DMCA” in the subject line.

Reporting infringement

Your notice must include:

  1. your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name works);
  2. a description of the copyrighted work you say was infringed;
  3. the exact link(s) on minecraft.feedback to the material, so we can find it;
  4. your name, address, phone number and email;
  5. a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
  6. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them.

When we receive a complete notice, we’ll remove or disable the material, and tell the person who posted it, including a copy of the notice (which may include your contact details).

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice with:

  1. your physical or electronic signature;
  2. a description of the removed material and the link where it appeared;
  3. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification;
  4. your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you’re outside the U.S., any judicial district where we may be found), and that you’ll accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.

We’ll forward it to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they’ve filed a court action, we may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after we receive your counter-notice.

Repeat infringers

We end the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright, in appropriate circumstances.

Please be accurate

Under U.S. law (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)), anyone who knowingly makes false statements in a notice or counter-notice can be liable for damages. If you’re not sure whether something infringes your rights, consider asking a lawyer first.
